MMR inserts

SHULS are requiring people to have MMR in order to enter the facility. I imagine those doing so have not done their homework, to see why requiring it from everyone is a very severe misjudgment and overreach. We have done the homework for you, but feel free to check the links. Especially from the manufacturer themselves. ______________________ See how they give one thing to the doctor and another to you the patient https://vaccines.procon.org/sourcefiles/MMRII_Package_Insert.pdf In larger print, here is what is given to doctors https://www.merck.com/product/usa/pi_circulars/m/mmr_ii/mmr_ii_pi.pdf And here is what is for patients (who obviously can't understand the previous material 😷) https://www.merck.com/product/usa/pi_circulars/m/mmr_ii/mmr_ii_ppi.pdf Below all the reasons TO GIVE MMR have been removed. People know why they want to get vaccinated. Here are reasons to NOT GIVE MMR from the PACKAGE INSERT GIVEN TO DOCTORS Doctors are told M-M-R II should be given ...

On Religious Liberty

This fight is going on in a number of states in the Union. This article appeared in a Florida newspaper on Monday.  Preserve religious freedom in vaccinations | Opinion By ANDREA DEMICHAEL SPECIAL TO THE SUN SENTINEL MAY 13, 2019 | 1:37 PM   If someone wants to vaccinate so be it, but the government should not mandate a medical treatment, period, writes Andrea DeMichael, a co-founder of the Florida Freedom Alliance. Her organization argues that, instead of working toward mandating a vaccine, which clearly has efficacy questions, we should look at repealing the 1986 Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, which protects vaccine companies, not Floridians. (Vernon Bryant / AP) The Florida Freedom Alliance would like to clarify some facts and implied points raised in an  April 16 Sun Sentinel column  that called for ending Florida’s vaccine exemptions. The problem with the national conversation is that people seemingly must be either for or ag...

A Great Rabbi Admits "I am not a scientist"

Image
It takes a great person to admit "I don't know everything about a subject." HaRav Asher Weiss is one of the world's foremost poskim of our time. No question about it. He has been very outspoken about the need for people to vaccinate - despite not being a doctor , and despite not having examined all those for whom he is requiring vaccination. In this video - which is a Q & A session following a talk about vaccination, Rav Weiss sidesteps questions sent his way, ignores the issues raised, and readily admits "I am not a scientist. I am just a simple rabbi."  https://youtu.be/TEqnw1B8wXU At 6:10 he is parroting the CDC. At 6:38 he says the quote shared two lines up. It is hard to accept that Rav Weiss has thoroughly researched both sides of the debate about vaccines. Which leads to the question - if you don't know everything there is to know about vaccines, and if in this response you admit that much more research is required, how can you rea...

But Measles is Dangerous!

Image
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnpT7lJlVxY Here are some notes from this conversation. Once upon a time Measles was viewed like chicken pox. Yes it is contagious, but people who got it quarantined themselves and got over it soon.  It is serious for an extreme minority of cases The "1 in 1000 die" claim came from an outbreak in 1989, and it reflects numbers from those who were so sick they needed to come to the hospital. 10% of people who got sick went to the hospital. Most stayed home through the illness.  The "1 in 1000" stat is simply not true for people who work through measles at home.  Otherwise 1 in 10,000 children. In the sixties, before the vaccine, 1 in 500,000 people would die. The media uses the "1 in 1,000" number because it is scary and makes people get a shot. 1 in 10,000 or 1 in 500,000 isn’t scary. Last childhood fatality of measles was in 2003. More children have had fatal reactions to the MMR vaccine in...

New York, Vaccines, Religious Liberty - We all should be very concerned

From Vaccines Revealed As the measles debate wears on, we’re hearing a lot about the “spread of misinformation” in relationship to vaccines. Typically, this term is used to describe the efforts of vaccine safety advocates to expose the truth about vaccines to the public, but with the current backlash and push for mandatory vaccination, we’re seeing a new level of misinformation in the press that warrants the attention of every American. The truth is, it’s easy to accept what we see in print without taking the time to really consider what it’s saying…and whether it’s true. At a time when the nation is more divided than ever, it’s vitally important that we check the facts before accepting what we read in the media…and while it’s easier than ever to spread misinformation by simply hitting “share,” the internet has also made it easier than ever to quickly do a fact check and research claims for yourself.  This is especially important when it comes to situations like the one unfol...

Pursuing Peace

Someone - a vaccinated person who also needs to remain anonymous for fear of communal retribution! - has put together an important resource for Vaccine Education. Of course no one wants to get sick, and no one wants to get anyone else sick! In order to understand this side, however, an important step in any dialogue, one must be cognizant of the information which has brought many of us to this side. Check out the slideshow at  http://www.rodefshalom613.org/ If you are reading this on a phone, you might to well to check this out on a desktop or laptop. And give yourself at least 20 minutes... it's a lot of information to go through and process.

Vaccine Educated

Image
Being labeled "anti-vaxx" is ridiculous. Why? Because someone who is anti something wants to get rid of it altogether. An anti-Semite hates Jews. Period. There is no rhyme, reason, or rational dialogue to be had. The violent "antifa" fascists hate all who are on the other side of the political wind as they are. There is no reasoning to be had. Someone who is a racist towards black people thinks horrible things about all black people. In contrast, those who question  the safety of vaccines are not anti vaccine! We would love it if a vaccine were totally safe, and it did the job it claimed to do! We also tell people who want to vaccinate, "Go ahead and vaccinate! If you believe that is the best thing for your family, you are encouraged to do so." We have come to different conclusions. Why? 1. Some of us have seen vaccine injury in a loved one (relative) or a friend's child. 2. Some of us had injuries when we were children or adults and ...
