Some One Sentence Anecdotes
People who are unvaccinated are human beings. We do not carry diseases.
It may be shocking to hear this, but like everyone else, we are only contagious when we are sick with a contagious disease. You might not be able to believe this, but we are actually not sick that often. At all.
So here are a few stories. All verified.
A single mother and her children were disinvited from a Seder for Pesach. (Unless they figure out an alternative, they'll now have to be alone)
Some Jews on the fences of being frum have opted out because of how they were treated by the Jewish community for not vaccinating.
People have lost faith in their rabbis, who do not care for them or even attempt to understand why they do not vaccinate.
A rabbi encouraged his student to get divorced over the vaccine issue because the young man's wife does not want to vaccinate their children.
Families no longer communicate with each other - non-vaccinating families are not welcome in the home of their parents or siblings
Grandparents (for whom some vaccines could be really dangerous) are denied access to their grandchildren if they do not vaccinate.
These stories are all tragic. If you don't see that, you are not listening. If you think those who don't vaccinate had it coming to them, your empathy for other human beings (not to mention fellow Jews) is very weak.
