Targeting Children when ADULTS are the problem!

Most measles cases we have heard about have been linked to an ADULT spreading the disease.

Why? Because adults are out and about, while children are monitored by their parents.

Which basically means: Children who get measles are fairly quickly quarantined, while adults who get it don't quarantine themselves until after they realize that the miserable way they've been feeling is actually measles.

So why are we taking umbrage against children? The adult population is the one that needs monitoring!

There is only one kind of TRUE HERD Immunity

It comes from getting the disease naturally and creating a real immunity. Vaccine immunity wanes, requires boosters all the time, and is not guaranteed. Why does the government say anyone born before 1957 doesn't need shots? Because they were assumed to have been exposed to the real, wild virus, and has lifelong immunity. That's the real herd immunity for infectious diseases. And within a few decades it will be dying off. Thank God for those who have gotten measles naturally in the last few years. The top argument Skeptical Raptor uses is questioning assumed "authority." Without having a "degree" in vaccinology, Dr. Meehan is not allowed to formulate an opinion.
