NY State, Vaccines and (Shocker!) Political Corruption

Freedom died on June 13, 2019 and NY State politicians became guilty of destroying the lives of many people - all in the name of a political game brought on by Pharma, and bought by people who have decided that people who do not vaccinate are evil, stupid, and disease-carrying (all of which are evil accusations, straight out falsehoods, and malicious lies).

AND that Religious views are not tolerated when it comes to vaccination hesitancy.

If you, as a Jew, think that taking away religious freedoms is a good thing - in a country which has enshrined in its First Amendment religious freedoms - you have no idea what precedent you have opened the door to. The government can now decide that religions manipulate minds - and you don't have the right to do that. The government can now decide that shechitah (ritual slaughter of animals) is inhumane and cruel and not in the interest of animals. The government can now mandate the who, how and where of circumcision. (These last two have been very hot topics in Europe over the last few years).

Government involved in religion is a bad idea, and that NY State allowed this one through is terrible.

Yesterday, all within 7 hours, NYS repealed the religious exemption to vaccination. The corruption that took place yesterday was appalling. All of New Yorkers, whether they vaccinate or not, whether they know it or not, suffered a grave loss yesterday.

Initially, we won in the Assembly Health Committee. The bill should've died there. We won 13-13. The bill should've been dead. Assemblyman Sayegh casted the deciding vote: No. Then, the Speaker of the House, Carl Heastie, waved Sayegh over and whispered something to him. Sayegh then walked over to the Health Committee Chairman, Dick Gottfried, and whispered something to him. Immediately thereafter, Sayegh changed his vote to yes. He acknowledged he doesn't support the bill and will vote no on the floor, but he voted it out of the committee anyway. He was bullied, maybe even blackmailed, into changing his vote. Gottfried said the vote was already decided, that the majority wanted it debated on the floor. They obstructed the process. They lost the vote and then made sure they took it back via deception and strong-arming. (See photos below.)

Meanwhile in the Senate, the vote needed to go through the Codes Committee because it involved a penalty: removing 24,000 healthy children from school. We had the votes to kill the bill in that Committee as well. So, what they did to steal this vote was bypass the Codes Committee and send it to the Rules Committee, where they were sure they had the votes to pass the bill. They did not follow protocol because they knew they would lose if they did. They manipulated the votes yesterday. Had Heastie not bullied Sayegh and had Sayegh not cowardly crumbled under pressure, the bill would've died in the Health Committee. Had the bill gone to Codes, as it was supposed to, the bill would've died there. The corruption I witnessed was appalling. I am disgusted. We won and they cheated to take that win away from us. And they succeeded.

What we lost yesterday is our religious freedom. What we lost yesterday is our First Amendment rights. What we lost yesterday was the ability to decide what medical treatment we and our children receive. No longer can we space out vaccines as we see fit. No longer can we exercise parental discretion. No longer can we choose what we do with our bodies and our children's bodies. The government owns that choice now. That choice is theirs.

It shouldn't matter if you vaccinate or don't vaccinate. We are all going to be affected by this. Adults are next. Roll up your sleeves because they have come after our children and now they are coming for us. They will mandate all adults be fully vaccinated as well. They will mandate medical treatment for you next. It's already in the works. It's coming. What will you do? Will you fight? Will you wait until it's too late? Will you stand idly by and watch it happen? I won't. I will never stop fighting for religious freedom, for medical freedom, for parental rights, for bodily autonomy, for informed consent, and for choice.
