Not Jewish Arguments (that some Rabbis use) For Why Everyone Must Vaccinate
Being unvaccinated is like carrying a loaded gun
Being unvaccinated means I haven't injected an untested toxin into my body. It does not mean I am sick. There are hundreds of diseases for which there is no vaccine. Technically everyone is equally unvaccinated from those hundreds of diseases.
A loaded gun? That is a logical fallacy.
A loaded gun, in the hands of a responsible person, is not dangerous. Police who protect us carry loaded guns. Citizens with rights to concealed carry carry loaded guns. The armed guard in (sadly) too many schools carries a loaded gun.
In either case, while a gun is more likely to kill if it is shot at someone (though someone needs to aim and shoot for that to happen), most diseases for which there is a vaccine are either non-communicable (ie. Hep-B, Tetanus), or are not fatal by any stretch of the imagination. So the comparison is no comparison
More accurately (possibly): Knowingly carrying communicable disease into a public space is somewhat like carrying a disease-spreader without a safety catch on it. Which is why we certainly advocated that children who are currently sick should stay home. This does not apply to the unvaccinated, who are - shockingly, and contrary to popular belief - not carrying disease. (If you think the unvaccinated carry disease and are a danger to your child, you might also believe the earth is flat!)
Everyone must vaccinate to protect the herd
"Herd immunity" is the biggest scam when it comes to vaccines. The best time to do this is childhood!)
Only the pharmaceutical industry can sell a marketing ploy that claims "The only way our product works is if everyone uses it!" They know their product is not 100% effective.
This means that those who mandate vaccination, with all the known risks, government having granted immunity from liability to only one pharmaceutical product (vaccines) and having paid out billions of dollars in settlements since making that law, are telling people they must assume risk "for the greater good." They must put themselves or their children in potential harm's way "to protect someone else."
There is no precedent for that in halacha anywhere. To suggest someone must be a potential "sacrifical lamb" is not a Jewish argument. Child-sacrifice is forbidden.
Vaccines are safe and effective. There is no doubt about that
Vaccines ARE effective! There is no question that they do what they say they do - stop symptoms of disease in 85-90% of their recipients (they don't always stop the illness - a vaccinated person can still be contagious, but will simply have the symptoms masked - which is fascinating, because only vaccinated are allowed in school, but the vaccinated could be dangerous!) The BIG QUESTION is WHAT ELSE DO THEY DO? In what other ways do they affect the body? When your goal is mess with the immune system, how far does the body take the message from the vaccine? ARE THEY REALLY SAFE? The Vaccine Court has paid out over $4 Billion in settlements to families who have been impacted by Vaccine Adverse Events. A Harvard Study made by HHS showed maximum 3-10% of cases are reported - so we may have to multiply the number of payouts and people injured by close to 100 to get the real number of injuries and what the government should have paid out...
Too many people report injuries in themselves or their children after vaccination.
Too many parents report how their child had an adverse reaction, or chas v'shalom died after vaccination. The fact that doctors and medical personnel say "Coincidence" every time is the only predictable coincidence in the world. Whatever happened to "Believe women?"
There is no legitimate Jewish argument for Religious Exemption
In the United States this is completely irrelevant. Never mind that vaccination has become its own religion that so many Jews have bought into (have you ever said, "I believe in vaccines?").
Religious experience in the United States is defined by how individuals choose to practice - "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press..."
free exercise thereof becomes up to the individual. So if someone opts out of the Pharma-based religion, then that by definition is a Religious Exemption. [While irrelevant in the United States, and while Rabbis are more than welcome to suggest that Judaism "allows for vaccination," saying there is no religious argument in Judaism that opposes vaccination demonstrates an ignorance (woeful or purposeful?)and lack of curiosity to explore different points of view.]
