What a tragedy! You should sue! Of course the Vioxx caused it!

A family member took Lipitor. Blood clots and strokes.

A family member was given a vaccine. Guillain Barre Syndrome followed. Or really any kind of adverse event 
Crickets.
It's not a tragedy?
It couldn't be the vaccine.
I shouldn't sue?
You can't sue because a. vaccines are perfect, and b. the government took away the right to sue in 1986. 
The vaccine didn't cause it?
Of course not. Vaccines are perfect.
Vaccines, made by the same companies that are sued for most all other drugs they sell?
Yes. Vaccines are perfect. 
Why did the government take away liability for vaccines? And how could they be perfect if they've paid out over $4 Billion in settlements in 30 years?
You're an anti-vaxxer!
How could I be an anti-vaxxer if my child was injured by a vaccine!!! And what kind of argument is that anyway? Name calling? I have serious questions about this injury?!
Stop it! Your child needed to be sacrificed so some other kid can have a risk free sterile environment.

It comes from getting the disease naturally and creating a real immunity. Vaccine immunity wanes, requires boosters all the time, and is not guaranteed. Why does the government say anyone born before 1957 doesn't need shots? Because they were assumed to have been exposed to the real, wild virus, and has lifelong immunity.
